Patalliro aired in two seasons between 1982-83, for a total of 49 episodes. Two boxed DVD releases came out recently, for a whopping 23000 yen apiece (about US$230). You can watch the opening theme song and previews for some of the episodes at Toei Anime Broad Band. (If you're feeling very ambitious, you can pay to watch some episodes.)
